Dr. Chattopadhyay is an M.Sc (Physics) (CU), PGDCA, MBA, Ph.D. (IIT Dhanbad). He has more than 22 years of experience in academia and industry. 

Presently, he is a professor of Business Administrator in UEM Kolkata.

He is a life member of NHRDN, ISTD, NIPM, CMA, Wadhwani Foundation, and NFED.
